Methane is an extensively accessible green energy that can be obtained organically just by way of through natural gases. However, using methane in fuel at ambient temperature conditions quite challenging, due to its high thermodynamically stability. In this present investigation, the feasibility low-temperature microbial fuel-cell (MFC) with unadulterated culture Methylococcus chroococcus without inclusion any additional electron mediators investigated. The cell setup was prepared a salt bridge. Through potentiodynamic study, power density, and OCV, it seen delivers sufficient amount voltage as days progress. Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopic investigations also depict fact required roughly one day balance out, kept working full force for up seven days. This work exhibits chance creating utilizing main carbon sources M. direct electron-transporting MFC biocatalyst.
